  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers, sliced (red, green, yellow)
  • 4 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the ribeye steak and chopping the onions and bell peppers into strips.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Push the vegetables aside and add the ribeye steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper; cook until browned, around 3-5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, mix everything together, and layer provolone cheese on top of the meat mixture. Allow it to melt for about two minutes.
  5. Fill hoagie rolls generously with the cheesesteak filling and serve hot.
