- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
- 1 cup mixed bell peppers, sliced (red, green, yellow)
- 4 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by slicing the ribeye steak and chopping the onions and bell peppers into strips.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Push the vegetables aside and add the ribeye steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper; cook until browned, around 3-5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, mix everything together, and layer provolone cheese on top of the meat mixture. Allow it to melt for about two minutes.
- Fill hoagie rolls generously with the cheesesteak filling and serve hot.
