- 3 slices white or whole wheat bread
- 3 strips cooked bacon
- 4 oz deli turkey or chicken (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup romaine or iceberg lettuce (crisp and shredded)
- 1 medium tomato (sliced)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of two slices of toasted bread.
- Layer turkey or chicken on one slice (mayo side up), followed by bacon.
- Add lettuce and tomato slices generously over the meat.
- Top with the second mayo-slathered slice of toast (mayo side down).
- Finish with the third slice of toasted bread, cut diagonally into quarters, and serve with chips or pickles.
