- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; gradually fold into the wet mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish, layer with dollops of cookie dough, then top with remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but fudgy in the center.
- Cool for 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
