- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely before frosting with whipped cream. Decorate with strawberries and blueberries to create the flag design.
