- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- In a bowl, combine ground halal beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
- Shape the mixture into four equal patties and press your thumb in the center of each to prevent puffing.
- Grill the patties for about 4 minutes per side for medium doneness; add cheese during the last minute if desired.
- Toast buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, and any additional toppings.
