- Spaghetti or fettuccine pasta
- Large peeled and deveined shrimp
- Fresh minced garlic

Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream; then add Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
- Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve hot with optional garnishes.
