Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually alternate mixing in dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
- Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, frost layers with whipped cream, then decorate with strawberries as stripes and blueberries as stars.
