- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly against the grain
- 1 cup bell peppers (red and green), sliced into strips
- 1 cup broccoli florets, bite-sized
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the beef and vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced beef in batches if necessary and cook until browned (about 3 minutes). Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic along with bell peppers and broccoli; sauté for about 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture; stir until everything is coated well.
- Serve immediately on plates with extra sauce if desired.
