Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. If using frozen strawberries, let them sit for 10 minutes before blending.
- Blend fresh strawberries with half of the sugar and a splash of water until smooth.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a measuring cup until you have about half a cup.
- In a large bowl, combine strawberry puree, lemon juice, and remaining sugar; mix until sugar dissolves.
- Gradually add ice while blending until achieving a slushy texture.
- Serve immediately in glasses, garnished with sliced strawberries or lemon wedges.
