- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries under cold water, hull, and halve them.
- Squeeze lemons to obtain 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and 2 cups of cold water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold water and add ice cubes.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed before serving over ice with extra sliced strawberries.
