- 4 fresh limes (juiced)
- 20 fresh mint leaves
- 4 cups chilled sparkling water
- 1 cup simple syrup (1 cup sugar + 1 cup water)
- Ice cubes as needed
Instructions
- Wash mint leaves and pat dry. Juice limes until you have about half a cup.
- In a saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water over medium heat until dissolved to create simple syrup; let cool.
- In a pitcher, muddle mint leaves with two tablespoons of simple syrup to release oils.
- Add lime juice to the pitcher and stir well.
- Slowly pour in sparkling water while gently stirring; fill glasses with ice before serving.
- Garnish with extra mint sprigs or lime slices, then serve immediately.
