- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups chilled water (or sparkling water)
- 1 cup fruit purees (strawberry, blueberry, or peach)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Juice the lemons to yield 1 cup of juice, straining out seeds. In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, sugar, and water; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Chill the lemonade mixture for at least one hour. For immediate enjoyment, add ice cubes.
- Prepare fruit purees by blending strawberries or blueberries with sugar until smooth. For peach puree, blend peeled ripe peaches similarly.
- Set up your lemonade bar with glasses and bowls of purees alongside the pitcher of lemonade and mint leaves.
- Allow guests to mix their drinks by pouring lemonade over their choice of fruit puree and garnishing with mint.
