- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the black tea bags for 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, squeeze the juice from fresh lemons to yield 1 cup. Stir in the granulated sugar until fully dissolved.
- Combine the brewed tea with the lemon juice mixture and add 4 cups of cold water. Stir well and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh lemon slices.
