- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- Juice of 2–3 fresh lemons
- ½ cup sugar (or to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan.
- Remove from heat and steep 4 black tea bags for 5-7 minutes.
- Squeeze juice from 2-3 lemons into a measuring cup; reserve lemon slices for garnish.
- Remove tea bags, then stir in sugar until dissolved.
- In a large pitcher, combine brewed tea, lemon juice, and 4 cups of cold water; stir well.
- Serve over ice, garnishing with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
