Ingredients
- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Optional: Sliced fruits (oranges, berries) for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan.
- Once boiling, add 1 cup of dried hibiscus flowers. Turn off heat and steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer.
- While warm, stir in 1/4 cup sweetener until dissolved.
- Allow the tea to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate until cold (about 1 hour).
- Serve over ice with fresh lime juice and optional sliced fruits.
