- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Cook the seasoned chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Pour in the fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
