Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in eggs one at a time.
- Add the lemon juice and zest to the butter mixture.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with a splash of milk.
