Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Gradually add cold water until dough forms a ball. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick; transfer to tart pan.
- Blind bake for 15 minutes with parchment and weights; remove weights and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Whisk eggs and heavy cream together; stir in sugar and spices if desired.
- Pour egg mixture into cooled crust and layer with chosen fillings.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown.
