  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes along with their oil; heat for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil and grated Parmesan until combined.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
