- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries, being careful not to overmix.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before enjoying.
