Ingredients
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries. Mix until smooth.
- Place about two tablespoons of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal with water.
- Heat about two inches of cooking oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or alongside whipped cream.
