- 1 whole Italian bread loaf
- 2 cups cooked spaghetti (well-drained)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano and basil)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the Italian loaf in half lengthwise.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and herbs; spread evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with mozzarella and Parmesan; pile onto one half of the bread.
- Top with the other half, wrap in aluminum foil, and bake for 15-20 minutes until warm and melty.
- Carefully unwrap, slice into portions, and serve immediately.
