- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 6 flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced or ½ cup guacamole
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping lettuce and tomatoes while the ground beef rests at room temperature.
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned but still slightly pink (3-4 minutes).
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and mix well; cook until fragrant and fully browned (about 2-3 minutes).
- In another skillet, toast tortillas on each side for about 30 seconds until warm and slightly crispy.
- Assemble tacos by layering cooked beef on each tortilla, topping with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, and hot sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately while warm.
