- 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 2 tsp taco seasoning
- 4 flour or corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fresh lettuce, chopped
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping toppings and gathering everything together.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Once hot, add the ground beef without overcrowding the pan.
- Smash the beef with a spatula until thin and sprinkle taco seasoning on top. Cook until browned (3-4 minutes), then flip.
- Add cheese on top of each patty, cover briefly to melt (1-2 minutes).
- Warm tortillas in another skillet or over low flame until soft.
- Assemble tacos by placing cooked patties on warm tortillas and adding your desired toppings.
