- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 4 soft hamburger buns
Instructions
- Sauté vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sauté the chopped onions and bell peppers until tender (about 5 minutes).
- Brown the beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned while breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Make it saucy: Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and mustard until well combined.
- Simmer: Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes to meld flavors.
- Assemble: Spoon the meat mixture onto bun bottoms and gently press down with the top bun.
- Serve: Transfer to plates or a platter for serving; enjoy!
