- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, blend milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and springy to touch. Let cool on a wire rack.
- For the filling, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Once cooled, fill each donut with cream using a piping bag.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth; dip the top of each donut in the glaze.
