- 1 lb shrimp (deveined)
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir well, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Mix in lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes.
- Combine cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture; transfer to a greased baking dish and top with extra Parmesan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
