Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until combined. Remove from heat.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sea salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes, then scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls. Coat each ball with powdered sugar before placing them on prepared baking sheets, spaced two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed and crinkled; let cool before enjoying.
