Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools: a large mixing bowl, spatula, saucepan, and an 8×8-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and salt.
- Fold in rice cereal gently until evenly coated.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly yet gently to avoid crushing.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
