- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or white cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (optional)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon. Toss until well coated.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and layer the peach mixture evenly on the bottom.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly on top of the cake mix.
- Pour water around the edges of the pan, avoiding direct contact with the cake mix.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
