- 1 cup fresh lobster meat, chopped
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 split-top hot dog buns
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cook lobsters in boiling salted water until bright red, about 8-10 minutes per pound. Cool and remove the meat.
- Chop the lobster into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the lobster meat with mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, and dill (if using).
- Melt butter in a skillet and toast the buns until golden brown.
- Generously fill each bun with the lobster mixture.
- Serve immediately with potato chips or pickles.
