Ingredients
- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink; drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, half the mozzarella, salt, and pepper.
- Begin layering: spread meat sauce at the bottom of the baking dish, place three noodles on top, layer half of the ricotta mixture, followed by more meat sauce. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.
- Finish with remaining noodles and meat sauce; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let it rest before serving.
