- 1 lb high-quality ground lamb
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh mint, chopped
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped mint, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties about 1 inch thick.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C) and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C). Add crumbled feta on top during the last minute of cooking to melt slightly.
- Assemble your burger with toasted buns, lettuce or spinach, and additional toppings like tzatziki sauce or sliced avocado.
