- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice (about 20 key limes)
- Zest of 2 key limes
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, and key lime juice until smooth. Stir in lime zest.
- Pour filling into the cooled crust and bake for an additional 15 minutes until set. Cool completely before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled, topped with whipped cream.
