Instructions
- Marinate chicken breasts in hot honey for at least 30 minutes.
- In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs with garlic powder; season with salt and pepper.
- Coat marinated chicken in breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes per side) or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Slice buns and spread additional hot honey inside if desired. Layer lettuce, followed by cooked chicken.
- Top with pickles or slaw as desired; press gently to secure.
