- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels for optimal browning.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken evenly and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the marinated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- During the last five minutes of cooking, drizzle hot honey over each piece of chicken and return to the oven until bubbly.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving alongside rice or fresh veggies.
