- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs (cut into strips)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk (for marinating)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, roll out to one-inch thickness, and cut into rounds.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes. Dredge in seasoned flour and fry until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes per side).
- Combine honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until well mixed.
- Drizzle the hot honey glaze over the fried chicken and biscuits before serving.
