Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms.
- Chill the Dough: Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness; cut into circles.
- Add Filling: Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle.
- Seal Pies: Fold dough over filling and pinch edges tightly; crimp with a fork if desired.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheets, brush with egg wash, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
