- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup cheddar or mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on a clean workspace.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into six equal portions. Flatten each portion slightly and create an indentation in the center.
- Fill each indentation with about 2 tablespoons of cheese. Cover with another portion of meat and seal the edges tightly.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
- Grill the stuffed patties for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of at least 160°F (70°C). Serve hot with lettuce and tomato.
