Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
- 1 cup sliced green bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced sweet onions
- 1/2 cup Cheese Whiz or provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the beef into thin strips and chop the bell peppers and onions.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté for about 5–7 minutes until soft.
- Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sliced beef. Season with salt and pepper; cook for 4–5 minutes until browned but juicy.
- Mix everything together in the skillet. If using Cheese Whiz, drizzle it over the mixture to melt into the filling.
- Lightly toast hoagie rolls in another pan or under a broiler for added crunch.
- Assemble sandwiches by spooning the beef mixture into each hoagie roll and adding extra cheese if desired.
