- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss until fully coated. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving space between each piece.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
