- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 slices ciabatta or whole grain bread
- Your favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese (as desired)
Instructions
- 1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat the Grill: Heat the grill to medium-high (375°F or 190°C).
- 3. Grill the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
- 4. Toast the Bread: Place slices of bread on the grill during the last few minutes to achieve golden crispiness.
- 5. Assemble Sandwiches: Layer grilled chicken on one slice of bread with desired toppings and top with another slice.
- 6. Serve and Enjoy: Slice in half if desired and dig into your delicious creation!
