- 2 slices thick-cut sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- 2 slices tomato (optional)
- 2 tablespoons bacon bits (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat while buttering one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice in the skillet, butter-side down, and layer with cheese. Top with the second slice, butter-side up.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then slice and serve hot.
