- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Gradually add grated Parmesan, mixing until melted and creamy.
- Toss the drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Plate the pasta hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs.
