- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs. Pour the mixture over the seared chicken in the skillet.
- 5. Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- 6. Let rest for five minutes before serving, drizzling with any remaining sauce.
