Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients; thaw puff pastry according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, half the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Roll out each puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture in the center of each square. Fold over and seal tightly.
- Brush tops with egg wash and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
