- 1 lb beef flank steak
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp pure honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (smoky variety recommended)
- 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, melted butter, honey, and BBQ sauce. Toss in the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef slices in a single layer and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Briefly warm tortillas in a dry skillet or wrap in foil and heat in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 5 minutes.
- Place generous portions of cooked beef onto each tortilla and top with chopped cilantro if desired.
- Transfer tacos to plates and drizzle with extra BBQ sauce if preferred.
