- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into halves or quarters.
- In a blender, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth but retain some chunks.
- Add heavy cream and vanilla extract to the mixture. Pulse gently until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for 4-6 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for even texture.
- Scoop into bowls or cones and garnish with mint leaves or additional strawberry slices before serving.
