  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dulce de leche (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar and mix well. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
  5. Stir in half of the dulce de leche and vanilla extract until well blended.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the warm crust and dollop the remaining dulce de leche on top. Swirl lightly with a knife.
  7. Bake for another 25-30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
