- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors)
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 soft hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and chop finely.
- In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers; cook until softened.
- Mix in garlic and Cajun seasoning; stir for two minutes.
- Stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce; simmer on low for five minutes.
- Toast hamburger buns until golden.
- Spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto each bun and add desired toppings.
